Dr. William J. Mills, III  - President
Dr. Mills has over 25 years of experience in environmental, health and safety, chemical processes, and advanced technologies issues. He has worked for the private sector, government agencies, and academic institutions. Dr. Mills has an international reputation and has worked in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia as an expert in these areas. Dr. Mills is frequently a consulting expert for law firms and corporations on litigation matters. As part of this service, Dr. Mills has a proven record of assembling teams of testifying experts that are selected based on their expertise in particular fields and the facts of each case.

Patricia A. Rooney  - Vice President
Ms. Rooney has extensive experience in environmental, health & safety issues. She has particular expertise in regulatory analysis, litigation, and real estate transactions. Ms. Rooney's understanding of the legal process allows Mills Consulting, Inc. to provide services to legal professionals that can be tailored to fit their particular needs. Ms. Rooney is also in charge of administrative matters for Mills Consulting, Inc.

Uyen Nguyen  - Intermediate Scientist
Ms. Nguyen has a background in environmental engineering and environmental management. Ms. Nguyen has managed several critical projects for MCI. Her areas of expertise include building and managing MS Access databases, statistical data analysis and data visualization for litigation purposes using ArcGIS (ArcView, ArcMap, and ArcScene), SAS and AutoCAD. She has coordinated clinical sampling, multimedia environmental and industrial hygiene studies, and complex laboratory analytical programs, and analysis of the data produced. Prior to working at Mills Consulting, Ms. Nguyen participated in a variety of research projects, including the design of an electrochemical cell, air quality sampling and monitoring in the Great Lakes region, and design of an in-house clay-based water purification system. Ms. Nguyen has microbiology experience isolating and culturing Azotobacter Chroococcum. She also designed and implemented solid waste treatment making waste-based clay bricks in Vietnam.

Benjamin Grigg  - Staff Scientist
Mr. Grigg is a mechanical engineer with a diverse background. While at MCI, Mr. Grigg has worked on numerous projects including industrial hygiene sampling and analysis, ventilation system analysis for litigation matters, and extensive mapping work utilizing AutoCAD and ArcGIS. Mr. Grigg has built several databases utilizing MS Access and other programs such as Summation and MS Excel. He has also performed statistical data analyses using SAS, SUDAAN and other programs. Mr. Grigg has performed engineering analyses for several Mills Consulting projects. Prior to joining MCI, he worked for manufacturing facilities, aerospace engineering firms, Fortune 500 companies, and a project designing ethanol stills to aid villagers in Zimbabwe with creating their own fuel.

Kyle Hilst  - Junior Staff Scientist
Mr. Hilst has developed several different projects with MCI. Mr. Hilst has coordinated and assisted with the supervision of stack testing. He has performed environmental and industrial hygiene sampling at manufacturing facilities for litigation and other purposes. Mr. Hilst has participated in a wide array of clinical sampling and analysis as well. Mr. Hilst is adept at building databases in MS Access and other programs, such as Summation, Concordance and MS Excel. He has performed data analysis using SAS, SUDAAN, and other statistical tools.

Rosina Amua-Sekyi  - Staff Scientist
Ms. Amua-Sekyi is a biologist with many areas of proficiency. While at MCI, Ms. Amua-Sekyi has developed and managed databases in Summation, Concordance, MasterFile, MS Excel and MS Access. She has organized clinical sampling, testing, and data analyses for legal counsel. Ms. Amua-Sekyi also conducts scientific literature research and other studies for litigation purposes. Prior to working at MCI, Ms. Amua-Sekyi conducted research as part of a plant molecular biology group studying the genes responsible for circadian rhythms of the green algae, Chlamydomonas. Ms. Amua-Sekyi's specialized skills include PCR, RNA/DNA isolation, Northern, Southern, and Western blots and various other skills related to molecular biology. Ms. Amua-Sekyi assisted in the building of a bioinformatics database for the study of organellar molecular biology. Ms. Amua-Sekyi has also worked extensively in the microbiology field, performing food sampling, testing, and chemical analysis.
